My name is Cosmin and I am the owner and founder of Ohio Generator Systems, LLC. This is a family owned and locally operated business here in Medina Ohio. My wife Kristina and our two kids have proudly lived in Medina the last six years and we’re glad to call it home. I am originally from Romania but had the privilege of coming to America in 1991 but not after crossing two borders illegally, living in a refugee camp and overnight in jail. We were allowed to legally stay and live in two different countries prior to coming to America legally in 1991 and five years later became American citizens.
After finishing college at the University of Akron and finishing up with a Business Administration degree, I decided to move to Florida to pursue the construction industry. I really enjoyed building new homes and remodeling and it was a good combination with my real estate background. After moving back from Florida and reentering the corporate world for five years in the fire and water restoration industry, I decided to pursue entrepreneurship again.

I saw that there’s a need for generators and that the demand is quickly rising. All generators are mostly the same but one thing that differentiates a business is the quality of customer service, communication, timeliness and the opportunity to just work with local neighbors and homeowners. I proudly started this business in April 2021 and glad to serve the surrounding counties.
As a family we love being involved in the community. We are active in our local church, local activities in the square, enjoy being out in the local parks for hikes and exploration. We’re also foster parents and glad to have two sisters living with us currently. We have also hosted a foreign exchange student from Germany and are always on the lookout for any way we can serve and be on a new adventure.
